Acclaimed singer-songwriter Charlie A’Court brings a brand new show to fans this summer with some special guests.

The Folk’n Blues Song Circle is an intimate evening of original music hosted by Charlie A’Court, featuring Jon Hines and Frank Sultana. In a round-robin format, these award-winning songwriters share stories and songs rooted in folk, blues, and Americana.

The tour includes:

Wednesday, August 19 – The Iona Heights Inn – Iona, NS

Thursday, August 20 – The Shoebox Cantina – New Glasgow, NS

Friday, August 21 – Great Village Arts Centre – Great Village, NS

Saturday, August 22 – Brule Point Golf Club – Tatamagouche, NS

Charlie’s latest album, “San Palarino”, is an Americana-driven deep dive into growing older, emotional well-being, and the collective weight bearing down on humanity. At the 2025 Nova Scotia Music Awards San Palarino won Americana/Bluegrass Recording of the Year. Charlie was also nominated for Entertainer of the Year and Roots Release of the Year at the 2026 East Coast Music Awards.

Jon Hines is bluesman, through and through, forged in the majestic crucible that is Cape Breton Island. Debuting at #2 on the Canadian Top 50 Roots Music Reports, Jon’s album “Memphis Sun” shows not only his prowess on the guitar, but reveals a diamond grit in his voice. Jon’s lyrics pay homage to hard-working hands, a sheer determination to make ends meet, and loves lost and found. Jon is a 2x winner of the Maritime to Memphis Blues Challenge, a 3x ECMA nominated artist, and winner of Blues Recording of the Year at the Nova Scotia Music Awards.

Making his Canadian touring debut, Frank Sultana is an exciting, raw teller of truths and heartaches. After his historic win of the 2023 Memphis International Blues Challenge, this globe-trotting troubadour from Australia continues to build his reputation as a powerful, authentic blues singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter.  ‘Ghosts of Sun’, recorded at the famed Sun Studio in Memphis just days after Frank’s IBC win, spent 6 months in the Australian Blues Roots Radio Airplay Charts.
