Applications are now open for the 2019 Charlie A’Court Scholarship for Excellence in Music. Presented in partnership with the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, the deadline to submit is Friday, April 26, 2019. Read more for details.

I've been working on new music for the next album I've been working on new music for the next album and most times I keep that music to myself until I've recorded and released it. After this week's disastrous budget funding cuts from the Houston's PC government, I am compelled to get this one out there. I'd been working on this for a few weeks and then the Houston budget came and I saw the path forward to finish it. I often ask myself WWGD, "What would Guthro do?" If you're mad like I am, then ask yourself, "Why can't it get better? Why can't it be easier?" I look around and see so many people hurting. If you're mad like I am, learn this song. Key of A (chords are A, D, E, with the occasional Bm and F#m in the bridge). Share it. Learn it. Harmonize with it. Record yourself playing along with it and post it. That's it.
