Charlie named semi-finalist in International Songwriting Competition

This week, the International Songwriting Competition announced “Two Days of Highway” from Charlie’s latest album, San Palarino, has been selected as a semi-finalist in the Americana category.

“Two Days of Highway” was co-written between Charlie and Dan Young and has been the lead single from the new album. It also spent 15 weeks on the East Coast Top 30, reaching #1 for three weeks. Produced by Chis Kirby, the new album is reaching new shores and new fans while continuing to satisfy, long-time fans of A’Court

“From the very beginning, we asked ourselves what would it sound like if Jason Isbell and Chris Stapleton were in a band together. That was a sound we were excited to capture in the studio”, says A’Court.

This upbeat, electric-roots tune captures that feeling of being away from home for weeks on end and you start counting down those last, long 48 hours before you finally get home to see your loved-ones.
