Charlie A’Court took home some more hardware last weekend at the 2024 East Coast Music Awards in Charlottetown, PEI.
“A’Court, Spiegel & Vinnick – An International Roots & Blues Kitchen Party” was named Blues Recording of the Year during the Awards Gala Brunch on Sunday, May 5. Featuring the acoustic collaboration of A’Court alongside Canadian roots & blues artist Suzie Vinnick, and Lloyd Spiegel, the Australian acoustic blues guitar phenom, the award is the culmination of national touring in 2023/2024 across Canada.
The album is a collection of original tunes and one Bahamas cover that brings together these three distinct artist’s sound and crystallizes into a signature blues super-group and features the single, “Dancing At The Dirty O”, which ranked in the Top 100 songs of 2023 on the East Coast Top 30.
