A’Court celebrates NYE at The Carleton with 20th anniversary shows

Charlie A’Court will perform two shows on December 31 at The Carleton in Halifax, NS.

It’s been a few years, but The Carleton is ready to greet the incoming year 2023 with Charlie A’Court, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of his seminal Color Me Gone début. Charlie and the band will play the whole album – and some other killer tunes – to ring in the new year on Saturday, December 31st. To accommodate those who’d like to do many things on the night, we’re doing an early show with doors opening at 5 PM for dinner, and the show to follow at 7:00. Tickets – while they last – are $45 + HST.

Planted at the crossroads of roots and soul, Charle A’Court possesses a mighty voice, fierce guitar work and contemporary songwriting that is felt by fans across Canada and beyond. Often compared to stylists like Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton and Otis Redding, Charlie has always been recognized for exploring musical horizons as evidenced by his 5 East Coast Music Awards, 8 Music Nova Scotia awards and multiple Maple Blues Award nominations.

A’Court slides into his role as smooth soul man with ease… Singing high and mighty, rising into falsetto, getting into the groove, or slaying us with tenderness, he’s a singing tour-de-force.” Bob Mersereau – CBC
