“San Palarino“, the new roots/Americana album from Charlie A’Court was recently featured on the indie-music review blog, Fifteen Minutes of Fame blog. The Nashville-based reviewer took notice of the new album and published a feature review on October 18.
In his review, Jeff Thomas looked at the synergy between the lyrics and music and how at “home” the new album from A’Court truly feels.
Thomas explains that, “being a southern kid who has been raised in the heartbeat of country music, known as Nashville, Tennessee, since 1993, I know country music when I hear it. San Palarino is a Country Music album if I’ve ever heard one.“
Thomas points to the strength of the songwriting as being “very captivating and tell very emotional stories.”
“This is an album that would be very welcomed in Nashville as a country music album,” writes Thomas. “This record (San Palarino) felt so much like home to me, I wouldn’t have been surprised to hear these songs at my local fall fest or in a bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville.”
