The East Coast Blues Society (ECBS) announced the acts to be their representatives at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis this January.
Charlie A’Court won his spot in the Solo/Duo category and Shrimp Daddy & The Sharpshooters won in the Band category. The ECBS held its regional qualifier last weekend inviting performs to showcase their material in front of a panel of judges.
Charlie will travel to Memphis in January to compete in International Blues Challenge, hosted by The Blues Foundation. A’Court’s latest recording, Come On Over is nominated for Blues Recording of the Year at the Music Nova Scotia Awards.
